Med II., Corporal, 34th Battn., A.I.F., France. Enlisted 25th March, 1916, in A.A.M.C. but, unable to get away, transferred to Infantry 10th November and sailed 24th January, 1917, with 7th Reinforcements. Arriving in Firing Line 2nd July after declining position of Brigade Interpreter, served till death. Killed in Action, Passchendaele, 12th October, 1917. At first Reported Missing. Commemorated in Ypres (Menin Gate) Memorial. Med. II : Corporal, 34th Battn., A.I.F., France. Early education at Fort St. High School.
