Commissioned lieutenant in September and, transferring to battery, crossed to France 2ist November and served till death. Killed in Action, near Armentieres, 23rd December, 1916, and buried in Cite Bonjean Military Cemetery, Armentieres. A.M.F. : Lieutenant, 35th Infantry. Early education at The King's School. Later at St. Paul's College.
