Wounded in Hermies sector 15th April, returning to the Line on 1st August and continuing as regimental stretcher-bearer till death. Killed in Action, Menin Road Battle, 20th September, 1917, and buried at Cable Head, near Hooge, Westhoek. Member S.U. Scouts. Peter Nicol Russell Scholar. The K. K. SAXBY Prize was founded in 1918 by his father in his memory. Early education at Sydney High School. Later at Technical College (Diploma). He died as he lived, nobly.
