Details in Egypt in January, 1916, and was R.M.O. 57th Battn. from March to October, crossing with it to France in June. Served with 14th Aust. Field Ambulance from November till invalided to hospital from the Somme in December and after six weeks was sent to No. 1 Australian Auxiliary Hospital, Harefield. Transferring to 16th A.F.Amb. in April, 1917, remained with it till its disbandment in October and then went to 1st Sanitary Section for twelve months, when posted to 7th A.F.Amb., being with it until demobilisation.
