Invalided to No. 3 London General Hospital, but, returning to the Front on recovery, served till death. Promoted captain, 1st December, 1915. Killed in Action, near Lebucquiere, Bapaume, 30th November, 1917, while M.O. to 58th Heavy Artillery Group, and buried in Lebucquiere Communal Cemetery Extension. Early education at Sydney Grammar School.
