Transferred to King''s African Rifles, 24th September, leaving immediately for Nairobi, but invalided to England in June, 1918. Promoted second-lieutenant, 5th May, 1915, and lieutenant, October; captain, April, 1916. Died of Illness due to War Service, London, 27th September, 1918, and was buried in Easebourne (St. Mary) Churchyard, West Sussex. Early education at Newington College.531470560968970
