Wounded near Hargicourt, 19th September but attached to 7th Infantry Brigade as assistant brigade major on 25th and brigade major, 28th October. Awarded D.S.O. 1st January, 1919, and Mentioned in Despatches. A.M.F. : Staff Corps : Administrative Staff Officer, High Commissioner''s Office, London, 1st January, 1929.
