Not listed on the Roll of Active Service. Mentioned in the University of Melbourne Magazine War Memorial number, July 1920, as having undertaken munitions work, or the like, in the United Kingdom. Shift Chemist in the guncotton section at HM Factory Gretna; later chemist in charge of the guncotton drying plant, and then manager of the guncotton section until May 1918, at the same factory; afterwards engaged in London on work connected with nitrogen fixation and poison gas manufacture.
