B.E., Intelligence Officer of the Second Military District, Captain (afterwards Brevet-Major). His service included acting as Officer Commanding for disciplinary purposes of all troops in the metropolitan area. He became later Staff Officer to the Commandant of the District. After the War he received the Membership of the Order of the British Empire and was mentioned for Specially Meritorious Services. He passed then to the position of Legal Staff Officer of the District, with the rank of lieutenant-colonel finally becoming Judge Advocate General, AMF.
