Short description
A H Kelly enlisted in Adelaide with the 28/3 Light Horse when he was 22 years of age. He had served with the Senior Cadets and with the Citizen Forces, Signals Company. He had been at Signals School at Mitcham for 18 months for training.
He embarked as a Private from Melbourne on HMAT Port Lincoln on 22 June, !917.
He was married to Alice Kathleen Kelly who was listed as his next of kin. They had one child at that time.
