Notes
In March 1916, R B Lucas was attached to 7th Service Battalion of the Norfolk Regiment as a temporary Captain. The Battalion was part of the 35th Brigade, 12th Division in Kitchener's New Army. Training was completed before the Battalion went to France at the end of May 1916. R B Lucas was killed during the huge conflict and heavy bombing of 3 July, 1916. He was 26 years of age.
