Short description
H A Wyllie first enlisted with the Australian Imperial Forces on 3 December 1914 while still a medical student, in his 5th year of study. he was posted to the Australian Army Medical Corps Base Depot at Mitcham. However, the Principal Medical Officer intervened and ordered his discharge to complete his medical degree and this is what he did.
