E B Thomas was appointed Deputy Officer of Health for the District of English in 1920. Some years later, he was appointed Deputy Officer of Health for the District of Julia. Both of these areas were localities near Eudunda in the Mid North of South Australia. He spent most of his working life in Eudunda as a general practitioner.
