DH: Ian Hickinbotham’s father was the chief chemist. That’s AR. DH: Yes. Did everybody call him ‘Hick’? Is that correct? DH: Well, yes. And Jock Williams was the winemaker. What did you learn in that course? I mean, I know you learnt how to make wine but to have AR Hickinbotham as a teacher must’ve been a pretty interesting experience.
