Short description
R L T Grant enlisted on 4 July 1918 when still a medical student. His previous army experience included 1 year of School Cadets and 6 years with the Citizens Military Forces. He did not serve overseas during World War I as the war ended before he could do so.
He was not called up for service and was discharged on 18 November 1918.
Although appointed as Captain on 26/11/1918 and recommended for enlistment in spite of blindness in his right eye, his appointment was terminated on 1 February 1919
