Sydney Teachers' College, Enlisted 11th September 1914, and sailed 19th October to Egypt. Crossed to Gallipoli for the Anzac Landing and served there till the Evacuation. Went to France in may 1916, and served in Armentieres, Pozieres, Bullicourt, Messines, Ypres and Somme sectors. Wounded at Bullecourt in April 1917 and again at Hamel in July 1918. Died of Wounds 4th July 1918.
