Eric West while Officer in Charge of CSIRO Griffith Irrigation Station (NSW) wrote a book and other articles on the Hydrology of Irrigated Soil, 1933,1934 and 1938.
The 1933 publication is still available to borrow from public Libraries.
Eric Stodden West started his career with CSIRO in 1924. There were several name changes from Commonwealth Citrus Research Station in 1924, to Commonwealth Research Station, Murrmbidgee Irrigation Area in 1927.  In 1967 is became known as the Division of Irrigation Research.
