Narrative

C V R North kept a diary while travelling on troopship S S Berrima from Melbourne in 1916 to the war front, Extracts from this diary are held at The Australian War Memorial, together with his wallet and discharge certificate issued 30 November , 1917.
North was invalided home to Australia as he was deemed unfit for further overseas service at this time.
