His surname and initials were listed in the back of the Book of Remembrance in the Combatant section as a member of the University who joined the Company, volunteered for active service, and having been accepted for the A.I.F., was in camp at Liverpool preparatory to leaving for the Front, October 1918.Member of the SU Scouts for 1 year.
Publications
1935 with Ian Clunies Ross published results of research into effect of feeding various levels of phosphorous to sheep experimentally infested with the stomach worm.

Dr Carr Fraser was the first graduate in veterinary science trained in an Australian University to be rewarded for original research work with the degree of Doctor of Science by an Australian or British university. The first graduate of Veterinary Science to be elected as a Fellow of the Royal Statistical Society (London).
