Christian Brothers' School; 1st year Engineering.
Held a commission as Lieut. in the Permanent Forces, but enlisted as
Sgt. in the 6th Btn. on 17.8.14; sailed 19.10.14; was Sgt. in charge of a picket in Cairo. At the Gallipoli landing he and a small party were cut off near the top of" The Narrows." His body was found some days later. He died at the age of 20.
