Haileybury Coll.; LL.B.; represented University at hockey in Sydney; taught at Berwick G.S. and Haileybury Coll.; admitted to bar 1912.
2.8.15; sailed for Egypt 18.11.15; to 6oth Btn. 26.2.16; to 59th Btn. 15.3.16, attached Lewis M.G. Sect.; after service at Heliopolis, Tel-el-Kebir, Canal Zone, and Desert, went to France June 1916, and was killed in his first action, at Fleurbaix, on 19th July 1916. He was buried in the British cemetery at Aubers Ridge, near Armentieres.
