Econ. I : Driver, 1st Coy., A.A.S.C. and 10th Bde., A.F.A., A.I.F., France. Enlisting 28th June, 1915, and sailing with A.A.S.C. Reinforcements, joined 1st Coy. 21st November, 1915, and crossed to France in March, 1916, being with it at Fleurbaix and, transferring to 10th Field Artillery Brigade 12th April, served till death. Died of Wounds, Armentieres, 19th July, 1916, and was buried in Estaires Communal Cemetery. Early education at Sydney Church of England Grammar School.
