June; to Gallipoli July, attd. R.A.M.C. hospital ship as O.C.; to 2nd A.S.H. Lemnos in October; to 1st C.C.S. January 1916, and with them to France in April, second surgeon for twelve months; Major at end of 1916; 1st A.G.H. Rauen May 1917; torpedoed on Barunga returning to Australia July 1918. Demob. November 1918.
