Surveyors, W.A.; sometime Assistant Surveyor Golden Horseshoe Estates Co., Boulder City, W.A., and at Mt. Morgan Gold Mine, Q.; Lieut. in Citizen Forces, Boulder City.
November 1914, Trooper 8th Light Horse, soon promoted Cpl.; sailed February 1915; Sgt. at Mena Camp March 1915; went to Gallipoli (the unit acting as infantry) May 1915, and was killed in action at Walker's Ridge on 7th August 1915.
