M.M., Arts : Driver, 10th Bde., A.F.A., and 1st A.L.H. Regt., A.I.F., Gallipoli and France. Enlisting 20th July, 1915, and sailing with 10th Reinforcements 1st A.L.H. Regt., joined regt. 20th November. Transferring to 4th Divisional Ammunition Column in Egypt 18th May, 1916, crossed with it to France and served with 10th Field Artillery Brigade from 14th October at Ypres III, the Somme and elsewhere till death. Killed in Action, Millencourt, 5th April, 1918. Early education at All Saints' College and Bathurst District School.
