15.6.16, A Sgt. 2nd F.A.B.; sailed 11.5.17; to A.F.C. 5.10.17, 2 A.M.; 2/Lt. 8.4.18. After 2 1/2 years' service was killed in an aeroplane accident at Turnberry (N.B.) on 2nd June 1918. He was buried at Girvan with full military honours.
