W.C., and Mansfield H.S.; Articled Clerk's course; was serving articles, and broke them, with Supreme Court's permission, to enlist.
June 1915, Pte. inf. rfts.; soon after enlistment promoted to Cpl. and Sgt. Contracted cerebro-spinal meningitis in camp about 1st August, and died on 13th October 1915 while at home on sick leave.
