R.E., Guards' Div., September 1915-July 1916; wounded and incapacitated for further active service at Ypres salient; Company Commander Training Reserve R.E. Glasgow for eighteen months; Capt. May 1918; at armistice transf. Appointments Dept. Ministry of Labour. Demob. July 1919.
