16.5.15, 2Lt. 6th Btn.; sailed 26.8.15; returned from Egypt on sick leave after typhoid 2.1.16; re-embarked 14.4.16 with 22nd Btn.
On 26th June 1916, in the Bois Grenier line, near Fleurbaix, he was wounded by a shell, and died of wounds the same night.
