M.B., Ch.M. : Captain, A.A.M.C., A.I.F., England and France. Enlisting in February, 1917, and sailing in May, served at No. 1 Australian Dermatological Hospital, Bulford, and No. 3 Australian General Hospital, Abbeville, from August to November. Joining 1st Australian Field Ambulance 20th November, was R.M.O. 1st Divisional Engineers from 26th, of 1st F. Artillery Brigade from 17th December, and 1st Battn. from 17th March, 1918. Wounded at Mauberge 15th April, 1918, and Villers-Bretonneux 7th July. Transferring to 15th A.F.Amb. 3rd August, became R.M.O. 5th Pioneer Battn. from 22nd, returning in January, 1920. Early education at Fort St. High School.
