M.B., Ch.M. : Captain, 5th Battn., Royal Irish Fusiliers, Gallipoli. Enlisting in England in 1914, was gazetted captain 2nd December and proceeded to Gallipoli, serving till mortally wounded at the Suvla Bay Landing. Died of Wounds, on board S.S.  Valdivia  , 9th August, 1915, and was buried at sea, off Cape Kephalos, Imbros. Early education in England and at Sydney Grammar School.
