M.B. : Gunner, 8th Battery, A.F.A., A.I.F., France. Enlisting 15th May, 1916, and sailing 30th September, joined battery after Bullecourt and served at Messines, Nieuport, Polygon Wood, Passchendaele and Kemmel. Injured in October and wounded at Kemmel in December, 1917, when evacuated to hospital and thence to Australia, arriving in July, 1918. Early education at The King's School.
