B.D .S .; D.D.S. (Penn.) : Captain, 15th Battn., A.I.F., France. Enlisting in October, 1915, and sailing in May, 1916, as lieutenant and second in command 14th A.L.H. Regt., which in England was distributed amongst various Queensland Infantry Battns., joined 9th at Perham Downs. Crossing to Albert in March, 1917, transferred to 15th Battn. in May, was promoted captain to command B Coy. 22nd September and served till demobilisation. S.U. Scouts: Private, 1905-06; second-lieutenant, 1910. Lieutenant, 15th (afterwards 1st) A.L.H. Regt., A.M.F., 1913. Returned to 1st A.L.H. in March, 1919. Early education at Mt. Morgan and Rockhampton State, and Brisbane Grammar Schools.
