M.B. : Captain, R.A.M.C., B.E.F. and A.A.M.C., A.I.F., France and England. After serving with R.A.M.C. from 23rd March, 1915, for one year, returned to Australia and enlisted in A.I.F. 12th December, 1916, joining No. 1 Australian General Hospital, Rouen, 19th October, 1917. Transferred to 7th Australian Field Ambulance 21st January, 1918, being R.M.O. 27th, 23rd and 17th Battns. till 2nd August, when wounded in Villers-Bretonneux sector. On recovery was at No. 2 Australian Auxiliary Hospital, Southall, from 1st November, 1918, returning in January, 1920. Member of St. John's College.
