M.B., Ch.M. : Captain, A.A.M.C., A.I.F., Egypt and Palestine; also A.N. and M.E.F., New Guinea. Enlisting 15th October, 1915, served at New Guinea, returning 13th November, 1916. Re-enlisting 24th January, 1917, and sailing 3rd April, was with 4th A.L.H. Field Ambulance from 22nd April and R.M.O. n th A.L.H. Regt. from 16th December, 1917, at 2nd Gaza, Beersheba, Jerusalem and elsewhere until the Armistice, returning in March, 1920. Mentioned in Despatches. Early education at Fort St. High School.
