M.B., Ch.M. : Captain, R.A.M.C., B.E.F., Gallipoli, France and England. Gazetted 4th April, 1915, served with 29th Imperial Division on Gallipoli, being invalided to General Hospital, Camberwell, London, and on recovery was with East Kent Regiment (The Buffs) in France. Was then appointed Chief Medical Superintendent for East Anglia, Norwich, later returning to Australia. Early education at Brisbane Grammar School.
