Enlisting and sailing in May, 1915, as major, served with No. 3 Australian General Hospital at Lemnos from July to December and Abbassia in March, 1916, and then with Egyptian Expeditionary Force till May, returning to Australia in July. Hon. Consulting Surgeon, Royal Prince Alfred and Women's Hospitals. Early education at Newington College.
