Agr. Sci. I l l : Captain, 4th Battn., Imperial Camel Corps and 15th A.L.H. Regt., A.I.F., Egypt and Palestine. Enlisting 9th June, 1915, and sailing 5th April, 1916, with 16th Reinforcements 5th A.L.H., was transferred to 4th Battn., I.C.C. 1st November. Fought with it in Sinai and Palestine Campaign through Maghaba, Beersheba, Gaza and elsewhere to the vicinity of Mulebbis, near Jerusalem, where wounded in November, 1917. Transferring to 15th Regt. 1st July, 1918, served from Amman through Damascus to Homs and till demobilisation. Early education at Toowoomba Grammar and The King's Schools.
