M.B. : Captain, R.A.M.C., B.E.F., and A.A.M.C., A.I.F., France. Enlisting in 1917, transferred to R.A.M.C. and was R.M.O. Yorks., Berks, and Essex Regts. and with 37th Field Ambulance. Transferring back to A.I.F. 20th May, 1918, served at No. 2 Australian General Hospital, Boulogne, from 28th September, 1918, to 2nd January, 1919, and then at No. 39 General Hospital, returning 14th February, 1921. Early education at Sydney Grammar School. Later at St. Paul's College with one year in Arts.
