Enlisting 5th December, 1916, and sailing 10th February, 1917, served with battn. from 27th December in Belgium and on the Somme until invalided from Chuignes to Base Hospital, Rouen, 23rd August, 1918, and thence to England and Australia, arriving 14th February, 1919.
