M.B. : Major, A.A.M.C., A.I.F., Egypt and Palestine. Enlisting 1st March, 1916, and sailing 19th August with No. 14 Australian General Hospital, served with it at Abbassia till 10th January, 1917, when transferred to 3rd A.L.H. Field Ambulance, being present at Gaza I and II, Beersheba, capture of Jerusalem, Jordan Valley and Es Salt. Was S.M.O. Australian Infantry Camp, Suez, from 15th May, 1918, returning to 14th A.G.H. 24th July and to 4th A.L.H. F.Amb. 23rd September, going with it to Damascus and Aleppo. After the Armistice was Embarkation M.O., D.A.D.M.S., A.I.F., Egypt, and later took a post-graduate surgery course in London Hospitals, returning in February, 1920. Member of University of Melbourne
