Eng. I l l : Driver, 7th Bde., A.F.A., A.I.F., France. Enlisting 3rd January, 1916, and sailing n th May, was promoted driver at Salisbury Plain and, crossing to France in 1917, volunteered for work as signaller and served with brigade till death. Killed in Action, Borry Farm, Passchendaele, 8th October, 1917. Commemorated in Ypres (Menin Gate) Memorial. Early education at Petersham Public School.
