M.B., Ch.M. : Captain, A.A.M.C., A.I.F., France and England. Enlisting 14th August, 1916, and sailing as S.M.O. troopship "Port Nicholson "in December, was M.O. at Tidworth Camp. Crossing to France, served as M.O. No. 1 Australian and No. 6 British General Hospitals, Rouen, and then with 3rd Australian Field Ambulance, 1st Australian Casualty Clearing Station and 4th A.F.Amb. Was wounded during an air raid in Paris in March, 1918, and then crossing to England, became M.O. Ministry of Munitions, Trennington, London, and returned as M.O. hospital ship "Wandilla "for demobilisation.
