M.B., Demonstrator in Anatomy : Captain, R.A.M.C., B.E.F. and A.A.M.C., A.I.F., France and England. Volunteering and sailing in October, enlisted in London in December, 1915, and, crossing to France in January, 1916, was drafted to 42nd Field Ambulance. Transferring to A.A.M.C. in January, 1917, joined Dartford Hospital 8th February, 32nd Stationary Hospital, France, 13th April, and No. 2 A.G.H., Wimereux, 4th July. Served with 2nd A.F.Amb. from 30th September until June, 1918, when invalided to England. On recovery was Adjutant, Fovant Depot, until invalided to Australia, arriving in February, 1919. Early education at Sydney Grammar School.
