Enlisting 25th October, 1916, and sailing 25th November with 6th Reinforcements 33rd Battn., served with battn. from October, 1917, at Somme, Morlancourt and elsewhere till the Armistice. In November, 1918, transferred to 9th Australian Field Ambulance, returning in January, 1920. Member of Melbourne University.
