M.B., Ch.M. : Captain, A.A.M.C., A.I.F., Egypt, England and France. Enlisting 1st September, 1915, and sailing 21st October, was at Nos. 1 and 2 Australian General Hospitals, Cairo, temporarily, and at No. 1 Australian Dermatological Hospital for ten months. Then served on hospital ships "Gloucester Castle "to Mu dr os and "Aquitania "to Southampton and, joining A.D.H., Bulford, remained there till Christmas, 1916. Then transferring to R.A.M.C., was M.O. 51st General Hospital, Etaples, till 8th July, 1917, and for a short time at No. 1 Australian Auxiliary Hospital, Harefield. Returning 24th September, was M.O. Randwick Military Hospital for about ten months. Early education at St. Andrew''s Cathedral Choir School. Later one year in Arts.
