Law : Sapper, 2nd Divisional Signalling Coy., A.I.F., France. Enlisting in July, 1916, and sailing in June, 1917, served in France with 7th Australian Infantry Brigade Signal Section until demobilisation. Early education at Fort St. Public and Sydney High Schools. L.R.C.P. and S. (Edin.), L.R.F.P.S. (Glas.), Med. I I : Driver, A.A.S.C. (Mechanical Transport) and A.A.M.C., A.I.F., Egypt and France. Enlisting 10th June, 1915, and sailing 30th September, joined No. 2 Australian General Hospital at Ghezireh but was recalled in March, 1916, to complete medical course. Re-enlisting, however, in A.A.M.C. in September, joined 15th Australian Field Ambulance at Bernafey Wood in February, 1917. Transferring to 5th Divisional Supply Column (later 5th A.M.T.), though never actually with that unit, was on its strength while attached to 8th A.F.Amb. as driver. After sickness in March, 1918, returned to 15th A.F.Amb. in July, remaining there until demobilisation. Early education at Sydney High School.
