Med. : Lieutenant, 18th Battn. and A.A.M.C., A.I.F., Gallipoli, Egypt and France. Enlisting 9th May, 1915, and sailing on 13th with 3rd Australian General Hospital, proceeded to England, and thence to Lemnos. After the Evacuation served with the hospital at Abbassia and then at Abbeville, transferring to 18th Battn. in 1918. Attached A.I.F. H.O. (Education) 30th March, 1919, and demobilised in United Kingdom, 13th October. Promoted second-lieutenant, 1st August, 1918, and lieutenant, 1st December.
