Arts and Eng. : Lieutenant, A Coy., 156th Division, R.F.A., B.E.F., France. Sailing privately in March, 1915, to join King Edward''s Horse, joined R.F.A. in England as second-lieutenant and crossed to France early in 1916, fighting in Serre-Beaumont Hamel region and later with A Coy. near Armentieres till death. Killed in Action, near Pozieres, 11 th February, 1917, and buried in Aveluy Communal Cemetery Extension. Early education at Sydney Church of England Grammar School. Later at St. Paul's College.
