Med. I : Lieutenant, 1st A.L.H. Regt., and 2nd Divisional Ammunition Column, A.I.F., Gallipoli, Egypt and France. Enlisting 24th June, 1915, joined 1st A.L.H. Regt. in Gallipoli 13th November, remaining till the Evacuation. Then served in Egypt till 10th March, 1916, when transferred to 2nd D.A.C., becoming A.D.C. to G.O.C. 2nd Division, 15th December and returning 21st July, 1917.
